Position Responsibilities:

Develops the sales plan for his/her designated region of responsibility and upon approval ensures the accurate, effective, and efficient implementation of all sales business operations in order to support the company’s business growth and profitability.

  • Contributes to the development and ensures the successful execution of the company's commercial strategy, thus reinforcing its market share and its commercial results in terms of revenue, profitability and sustainability.
  • Designs, proposes, negotiates and implements the sales plan and commercial agreements for the designated region so as to achieve the relevant sales targets and contribute to the company's commercial success. 
  • Identifies, proposes, and collaborates with new B2B & B2C partners, i.e. travel agencies and tour operators, aiming at building long-lasting, powerful, and successful partnerships.
  • Supports Business Development Managers in the identification and evaluation of potential new accounts, so as to increase the company's sales revenues and enhance customer satisfaction. 
  • Monitors, evaluates and forecasts sales results for his/her area of responsibility and team, market and competition data, in order to maintain alignment with the budget, taking corrective action when necessary, and improve sales force effectiveness by providing direction, coaching and support to Business Development Managers.
  • Identifies and proposes areas of improvement in the Sales force structure of his/her area of responsibility, processes and systems, in order to enhance sales effectiveness and thus contribute to the achievement of sales objectives with the most efficient and economic deployment of human and financial resources.
  • Coordinates, coaches and motivates his subordinates, through the appropriate training, development, and performance management to ensure that staff have the appropriate knowledge, skills and support that will help them perform effectively and contribute to the achievement of the Department’s short and long-term objectives.
  • Develops, submits and upon approval implements the Sales budget of his/her designated region and direct reports, monitors its accurate execution, identifies cost saving opportunities and proposes corrective actions in case of deviations, in order to ensure compliance with pre-set targets.

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience at management level within the Hospitality and Tourism / Cruising industry

• Degree in Business Management or related field from an accredited college or university

• Account management skills

• Effective negotiation skills

• Communication and interpersonal skills

• People management skills

• Planning, scheduling and forecasting skills

• Project management skills

• Knowledge of selling techniques

• Fluency in English

• Knowledge and proficiency of CRM use preferably Salesforce

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)

• Degree in Business Management or related field from an accredited college or university
