Position Responsibilities:

Seeking a Key Account Manager for JoAnn; you will manage and oversee the sales operations.  Design plans to meet sales targets, develop and cultivate client relationships, and evaluate costs to determine product pricing.

  • Create strategies to increase sales growth and profitability by developing adjacent departments and categories within JoAnn.
  • Build value-added relationships and lead solutions sales campaigns within the account
  • Teach customers unique insights about how our products can help them compete in the marketplace and deliver ROI, tailor messaging to each decision-maker across the organization, and influence the sales process while overcoming objections and customer aversion
  • Construct a sales plan and manage the development of JoAnn with the VP of Sales and CEO
  • Accountable for the development and attainment of corporate sales and operational budget and the development, completion, and attainment of budgets within the client calendar year
  • Align strategies/responsibilities/ product-related changes with Joann's account, as well as sales, marketing, and e-digitization peers
  • Provide forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual, including alternative models to reach sales objectives
  • Provide strategic direction and further sales expansion and margin optimization within the market while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration/Management, or other related degree
  • 5+ years experience in Sales of consumer goods
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience working with JoAnn or another big box, low-cost retailer
