Summary:
The Brand Marketing Manager plays an integral role in strategically planning, leading and executing integrated marketing communications that deliver business results across ITW brands.  This brand expert will be responsible for creating scalable and strategic brand initiatives targeting end users and leveraging channel partners while driving successful buy-in, execution and impact.   
 
The Brand Marketing Manager collaboratively works with Product Management, Sales, and Outside agencies to deliver one common understanding and one brand voice that will motivate our targeted end users to act in order to achieve our set marketing and business goals.
 
Core Responsibilities:
 
 
 
Strategic Development: Support with the development of key brand foundational tools including brand positioning, brand narrative and overall strategy. Drive evolution of brand strategy and messagies stories that are clear, ownable and adapted to our end users and customers
 
Brand Campaign Management: Lead the development of go to market strategy and execute integrated brand specific marketing campaigns and tools that drive growth through home center and lumberyard channels spanning multiple media including digital, social, CRM, search, and events that drive commercial results, driving target end user conversions working in conjunction with the marketing and sales teams
 
Leadership and Collaboration: Develop and hire a team of diverse, high performing MarCom professionals.  Lead outside agency partners and serve as primary point of contact ensuring marketing objectives outlined by Marketing Managers and Product Managers are delivered on time and on budget. Responsible for managing the marketing budget to deliver results at the most efficient spend
 
Creative Development: Responsible for telling a simple, compelling story consistently across all channels of communication.  For the channels of trade, leads the development of collateral materials, merchandising, promotional pieces, trade show management
 
Brand Insights & Analytics: Leads the development and alignment on program KPIs with key stakeholders.  Delivers insightful and actionable reports/dashboards. Work with external vendors to monitor & track key brand KPIs such as awareness and consideration.
 
Digital Expertise:  Lead strategy and execution of digital, social, mobile, and influencer marketing to deliver brand engagement. Analyze spend and return on investment for all digital marketing levers.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree required in business, marketing, or comparable discipline; MBA preferred
 
7+ years of progressive brand and digital marketing experience required.  Experience working on client side and durable goods experience preferred
 
Previous management experience required
 
Strong understanding of web technologies and concepts ; SEO/SEM, optimization tools and trends including -- Google Analytics, Adwords
 
CRM experience preferred; Ecommerce experience a plus
 
Strong leadership and influencing skills; ability to drive change.
 
Strong project management skills and results orientation.
 
Excellent communication and listening skills
