Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop territory action plan to meet or exceed revenue targets through agency and partner sales
  • Motivate and lead team of regional sales managers (independent contractors)
  • Produce reporting metrics to measure, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs and results
  • Establish and implement short-range and long-range territory goals, objectives, policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and implement sales strategy, selling cycle and methodology to provide best return on investment
  • Create and maintain competitive analysis and sales statistics
  • Use and maintain the integrity of the company’s CRM system
  • In conjunction with Vice President, seek out and target new customers and new markets
  • Coordinate with the marketing department with planning and development of territory sales materials
  • Represent the company at regional and national events and business meetings to promote the company as required.

Experience Required:
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years’ sales experience selling luxury products or services for tour operators or river/ocean cruise lines
  • Proven ability to target high net worth markets
  • Ability to hit the ground running | Self-starter
  • Understands global retail leisure outbound distribution strategies (American market traveling outbound through travel agencies)
  • Extensive European destination knowledge preferred.
  • Existing sales relationships and a demonstrated track record of sales success required within a sales territory with a leading travel/hotel company.
Education Required:
BS/BA pref.
