Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for increasing profitable sales volumes of the company's - Diversified Markets' Division utilizing the full line of products to end user accounts. Develops and manages an account list (both defined and undefined) from first contact through account close or opportunity loss. Serves as the account's initial point-of-contact and provides sales expertise as required. Works with DMD national sales managers and distributors to develop account specific activities, sales plans and sales blitzes to maximize sales potential and generate the greatest sales gain. Support and deliver established marketing and sales program to accounts to generate new business. Provides timely and accurate market feedback, which includes forecasts and detailed account information. 

  • Works with DMD, brokers, and distributors to develop account specific activities and plans to maximize sales potential and generate incremental sales gain.
  • Develops and manages a target account list from first contact through account close or 
opportunity loss.
  • Serves as the account's primary point-of-contact and provides sales expertise as required.
  • Support and deliver established marketing and sales programs to users to gain new 
business.
  • Develops and presents account business reviews to maximize business growth.
  • Provides timely and accurate market feedback from the field to include forecasts of gained/lost sales.
  • Develop sales plans with territorial brokers, including list of target accounts. Initiate sales
  • calls and generate sales to end users in defined market area.

Experience Required:
  • Good oral and communication skills.
  • Systems proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lotus Notes)
  • Strong Analytical skills, able to interpret and exploit sales data, etc.
  • Category management skills - proficient at fact-based selling
  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales or marketing required. Directly applicable experience within consumer/commercial products industry is highly preferred.

Time management - is able to prioritize multiple tasks
