Position Responsibilities:

The Key Account Sales Executive will be responsible for increasing sales and profits through development of key accounts for three key branded lines.  This growth will come from management of existing accounts, as well as opening new accounts. 
 
Key Account Management

-Manage all aspects of customer relationship and identify account growth opportunities & develop plans to achieve increased sales and profits

-Manage meeting preparations, sample requirements, art department requirements

-Prepare quote sheets, customer program information, new item set-ups; review customer orders for accuracy

-Communicate all customer requirements to internal organization, including Art Departments, Product Development, Order Management and Purchasing-- maintaining a “zero chargeback” level of compliance

-Problem-solve customer issues with PD, Art Dept, Purchasing, Customer Service as required to maintain satisfaction

-Track sales, prepare selling reports or shipment reports as needed to develop and track customer opportunities

New Business Development
-Prospect new accounts

Additional Responsibilities
-Assist in catalog and trade show preparation
-Assist in showroom/sample maintenance
-Assist in management of closeouts, maximizing sales/minimizing inventory

Skills and Experience

-A minimum of 5-7 years sales experience with a consumer product company serving large retailers, preferably in Gift and Stationery industry.

-High energy, great taste level, and a genuine love of people and beautiful products

-Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint

-Moderate amount of travel required

-4 year college degree
