Position Responsibilities:

The Sr. Manager of Global Brand Management is responsible for building and growing our professional brands profitably and globally. This person oversees existing brands and includes the development of new product lines. The role requires close cooperation with senior management, internal teams, direct reports, brand managers, and cross functionally with both internal and external customers.

  • Drive the development of the annual business plan to support the company’s 3-year strategic plan 
  • Develop the 2-3 year activity pipeline in close cooperation with product development
  • Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals and priorities. Work closely with key internal teams including but not limited to Creative, Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing, Product Development, Planning, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance and Sales Teams. 
  • Communicate brand performance and priorities to the global and local sales and marketing organizations 
  • Collaborate with product development and lead product launch planning and execution 
  • Work closely with trade marketing and sales to grow brand performance across existing and new channels: Print, Digital/ecommerce, Social, PR, customer specific support 
  • Monitor and optimize brand(s) P&L’s. Work closely with Finance to ensure financial goals are met
  • Act as brand advocate and representation towards internal and external customers
  • Lead brand positioning through deep understanding of target consumers, industry trends and competitive brands
  • Develop and coach direct report(s) to help them achieve brand goals

Experience Required:
  • Bachelor-Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant marketing experience. MBA is a Preferred
  • 7+ years of working experience 
  • 4+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Brand Marketing, CPG Marketing, Retail Channel Marketing 
  • 3-4 years of managerial experience 
  • Experience in the beauty industrypreferred) - Experience in hair cosmetics is a plus 
  • Experience in managing vendors and agencies 
  • Superior project, time and budget management skills
