Position Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming sales inquiries
- Creating custom vacation packages to our destinations
- Costing and managing margins of individual and group packages
- Preparing travel quotes and itineraries
- Selling pre-packaged tours
- Preparing travelers for departure
- Initial consultation with client to make sure they were qualified properly & gain more insight into the client and their needs to prepare an itinerary & trip quote
- Educates clients on product and basic travel knowledge for destinations and their specific type of trip
- Discusses the planning process with client including the commitment deposit
- Creates Itinerary including proper accommodation selection
- Determines price and regulates overall margin based on company standards
- Processes new sale payment and reporting
- Works directly with Travel Agents to create tour and provides net pricing
- Once sale is generated, is assisted by a Travel Coordinator until the client travels
- Follow-up upon return for survey and client retention/future travel with the company

Experience Required:
- 2+ years of sales experience in the international tourism industry is required, preferably to our featured destinations
- Computer literacy is required
- Knowledge of CRM and various software systems
- Professional phone etiquette
