Position Responsibilities:

The Luxury Travel Concierge is responsible for planning and executing luxury leisure travel experiences for high-end clientele.  The concierge on is uniquely responsible for planning personal “FIT” experiences (Free Independent Travel) for individuals, couples, and small families who seek luxury accommodations, best-in-class guides, premium transportation arrangements, and many VIP travel experiences.  Successful candidates will possess extremely advanced organizational skills, superior “soft skills” for communicating both orally and in writing with exacting clientele, and a love for providing service and products not available to the majority of today’s leisure travelers. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inquiring clients and conduct investigatory conversations and to identify specific desires
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions in response to clients’ stated desires to help shape travel plans to ensure the client is best served
  • Conduct research in the public domain as well as with unique industry publications and resources to build options tailored for clients’ needs
  • Ensure timely, robust responses to all questions and deadlines for the exchange of information with clients
  • Possess and exhibit comfort in dealing with demanding clientele with discriminating tastes and preferences
  • Learn proprietary industry software, (Global Distribution System or GDS), for researching, booking, and invoicing travel components
  • Desire to work in a team-based environment where there arises frequent need to leave a particular work stream to assist others in various ways
  • Occasional travel to become familiar with particular products and destinations
  • Prepare itineraries, directions and instructions, maps, tickets, vouchers, and various other travel documents for the comfort and flawless execution of clients’ experience
  • Attend trade shows and presentations, both local and out-of-state, to increase knowledge and experience with product
  • Attend sales presentations for both individuals and clients groups
  • Assist in onboarding and conducting training of new employees added to the department over time
