Position Responsibilities:

The Charter Services Manager ensures, delegates and controls safe completion of transportation loops for client. The use of leadership, compliance management and time management are essential competencies needed to manage operations successfully. Ability to work well with others, including internal and external departments, is a key function of job as well.

Required Tasks:

  • Ensure all staffing for operation is executed
  • Ensure compliance of DVIR, driver logs and work tickets
  • Understand and implement safety policies/processes
  • Provide accurate, complete follow up to any client or management questions or failures
  • Work with internal departments including payroll, human resources and claim management
  • Work with external departments including maintenance, dispatch and shuttle ops
  • Manage and maintain staffing to ensure efficient operation of all requirements
  • Define staffing levels and recruit drivers when necessary
  • Understand and enforce all company policies
  • Administer disciplinary action to driver team
  • Create daily and weekly work schedules for team
  • Manage fleet damage and repairs
  • Work with Compliance and Safety to hold drivers accountable for complying with commercial regulations
  • Ensure routes are operating per client expectations
  • Track and maintain accurate training records for all drivers
  • Compose and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Follow all updates from local transit agencies and other companies and services we interface with
  • Work with A/R on monthly billing

Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 3 years in the transportation industry
  • Must have valid California driver’s license
  • BS in Business Administration preferred
  • Prior management experience required
  • Microsoft Office, Google suite experience necessary
Education Required:
BS/BA pref.
