Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop territory action plan to meet or exceed revenue targets through agency and partner sales
  • Establish and implement short-range and long-range territory goals, objectives, policies and procedures
  • Use and maintain the integrity of the company’s CRM system
  • In conjunction with VP of Sales, seek out and target new customers and new markets in designated territory
  • Coordinate with the marketing department with planning and development of territory sales materials
  • Represent the company at regional and national events and business meetings to promote the company

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proven track record in reaching sales targets
  • Has executed tactical sales plans
  • Ability to use sales and marketing tools in a B2B capacity to drive sales
  • Ability to maintain brand and sales message consistently across travel agents
  • Strong relationship management with travel agents, travel agencies and consortia

Experience Required:
  • At least 5 years sales experience selling luxury products or services for river/ocean cruise lines or tour operators
  • Ability to hit the ground running 
  • Understands global retail leisure outbound distribution strategies (American market traveling outbound through travel agencies)
  • Extensive European destination knowledge preferred
  • Background in river or ocean cruising sales
  • Existing sales relationships and a demonstrated track record of sales success required within a sales territory within the travel industry
