Position Responsibilities:
  • To take responsibility for exceeding the passenger and revenue sales targets.
  • To have the ability to work on own initiative as well as being an effective team player, and willing to help out with any task, role or project at any time as requested
  • To take accurate and comprehensive briefs via the phone or via email and respond within agreed time frames.
  • To process, quote and deliver full itineraries to a high standard within an agreed timescale to clients and agents.
  • To assist with the loading of booking quotes and content into our lead-capture and selling system.
  • To grow Group Tour sales to compare with our success in custom/tailor-made product.
  • Providing quotes to direct passengers as well as Travel Agents for Group Tours, Private Tours and customized itinerary programs.
  • Accountable for executing all assigned tasks to meet and exceed business and team targets.
  • To develop relationships with key agents and build your own portfolio of repeat bookers that request bookings with you.
  • Ability to seek out and follow up every sales opportunity or inquiry
  • Working with the Manager, Commercial & Operational Support and UK Operations department to investigate and provide solutions for pre-departure customer service issues related to bookings.
  • To accurately search, price and book air itineraries for customers utilizing Amadeus and CAT 25 fare filing.

Experience Required:
  • Proven excellence in exceeding sales and targets backed up with good numeracy skills.
  • Passion for overseas travel and delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Strong IT skills including use of CSR and Amadeus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (via email and over the phone) and the ability to prioritise your workload within the organisation. Strong relationship management is also essential.
  • Knowledge of Asian destinations is a requirement (priority China, Japan, South East Asia and India).
  • Proven custom tour experience is essential as is track record of selling escorted group tours.
  • To have an upbeat positive manner and a can-do attitude, a desire and willingness to exceed expectations.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and see them through to completion with a sense of urgency.
  • Minimum 3 years’ reservations experience is required.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with strong time management.
  • Proven ability to convert inquiries to confirmed bookings with a minimum 20% conversion rate.
Education Required:
