• Develop a comprehensive sales plan to include strategy for attaining established monthly sales quotas relative to profitability and volume
• Develop specific sales objectives and business plans with all designated accounts, to include marketing and profitable sales strategy
• Measure, develop and analyze trends in the marketplace
• Accurately report competitive information and changes in the marketplace
• Analyze business practices and business models using company tools and resources to establish ROI
• Proficiently communicate information on all company products and services
• Develop training and sales tools in conjunction with the Marketing Dept. to support the needs of internal/external internal/external customers
• Participate in appropriate trade shows, vendor seminars, industry events, as required
• Work within and manage an established budget
• Partners with Sales Planning to develop compensation programs, tracking and reporting
- Proven track record in travel or related sales - 3+ years’ experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience required
- Excellent communications skills - both written and oral
- Must have good negotiating skills
- Should have financial understanding and analytical skills
- Must be self-motivated, an Initiator and show organizational and time Management skills
- Must have a working knowledge of TI technology, to include QUEST, SAP etc
- Must have strong computer skills - Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Bilingual capabilities an advantage
- Must be a team player and have the ability to interface and communicate at all levels of the company
- Must be able to demonstrate the creation of partnerships and overall strategy to grow the business profitably
- Must live in the territory, be able to travel, be able to drive and be able to work evenings & weekends
