• Successfully contribute to the research, design, development, maintenance, enhancement, organization, communication, and budgeting/costing of changes to current product and new product opportunities for assigned tours/region. This includes incorporation of the enhancement process in all itinerary revisions and accordingly reporting changes for the broader audience.
• Prepare initial itinerary and update when necessary.
• Successfully maintain and enhance all assigned products/region with respect to cost-of-sale management, quality control, customer service.
• Identify new/unique opportunities exclusive to the company.
• Oversee and facilitate the general maintenance of each assigned tour/region including frequent correspondence and follow-up with hotels, suppliers, and Travel Directors.
• Ensure responsive and effective acknowledgement of guest input, ideas, and concerns.
• Successfully negotiate supplier components for assigned tours/regions. This includes completing Letters of Agreement to hotels including preparation of initial deposit requests.
• Manage creation, maintenance and execution of date sheets and itineraries for assigned programs.
• Manage creation, maintenance, and execution of budgets for each of the assigned tours. This includes creating and regularly updating tour budgets with accurate costs.
• Develop any optional tours and optional extensions date sheets, budgets, and itineraries.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or 5+ years related travel/cruise experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
