Position Responsibilities:


  • Conduct an ongoing analysis of sales skills, processes and knowledge; identify strengths, gaps and areas for development
  • Develop and deliver sales training that drives behavior change and increases the performance of sales executives, including but not limited to: new hire training and on-boarding, team meetings, 1:1 coaching
  • Inspire, encourage and motivate sales executives to ensure they reach their full potential
  • Analyze sales activities, process and metrics to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and implement solutions to increase funnel conversion
  • Map sales activities, process and metrics with customer’s buying process to understand and enhance what skills, knowledge, process and tools are required to increase conversion rates at each stage in the process
  • Engage with sales executives to get feedback on the sales process and lead quality and seek opportunities to drive improvement
  • Oversee the group sales process from start to finish, including prospecting, contracting, confirming reservations, managing inventory, etc.
  • Develop reporting to provide performance analysis and insight to sales executives and leadership team
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales initiatives and training
  • Stay up to date with the latest innovations in the field of learning and incorporate into the program
  • Evaluate current technology, systems, processes and tools and make recommendations to improve
  • Define, establish and expand scalable processes to improve performance and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead efforts to remedy product, service or operational issues that cause friction in the sales process, ideally before they impact customers
  • Refine customer documentation materials and process to ensure accuracy, efficiency and completeness
  • Evaluate our customer request and fulfillment process; implement changes to improve results

Experience Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business 
  • Minimum seven years’ working experience in a sales training, management, operations or enablement role
  • Proficient in establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements (ROI & Bench marking)
  • A strong understanding of buyer’s journey and how to improve conversion through effective sales initiatives
  • Ability to take complex concepts and skills into small, manageable “chunks”
  • Demonstrated track record of developing selling skills in others
  • Team player with excellent leadership skills
  • Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively (both written and verbal)
  • Self-starter with hands-on approach and ability to multi-task
  • An entrepreneurial-spirit and desire to help build a new function from the ground up
