The company is a network of consumer brands that each focus on premium home, health, and personal care products.

 

Seeking a remarkable Director of DTC E-Commerce for our five consumer brands.  Use your strong Shopify and e-commerce expertise and to thrive in this role by balancing revenue and analytics with branding and marketing initiatives.  This role requires exceptional cross-functional leadership and project management, as well as a hands-on approach within our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all 5 branded websites. Responsible to achieve P&L and brand objectives. 
  • Develop and track all website-related Dashboard/KPIs and website budgets.
  • Personally, lead all aspects of website and email marketing strategy and execution, including promotional calendar, new product launches, and marketing campaigns.
  • Drive revenue, traffic, and brand growth on 3 current Shopify websites
  • Develop and execute plans to migrate two websites to Shopify.
  • Manage multiple brands’ email marketing efforts through Klaviyo. This includes setting up segments, sign up forms, email flows, creating email blasts, optimizing conversions, and growing subscribers.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital ad strategy, achieving ROAS and other key KPIs. Manage digital ad agency and ad budget.
  • Continually test and optimize websites, email marketing, SEO. SEM, ad, and affiliate strategies.
  • Manage external resources, including web development freelancers and ad agencies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing and Creative Director to develop and execute DTC e-commerce calendar, including product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives. Ensure marketing/branding execution is holistic across channels and platforms.
  • Cross-functionally collaborates and project manage website-related issues relating to inventory & fulfillment, customer service, IT, product development, and Amazon e-commerce.
  • Although a leadership role, this person needs to roll up his or her sleeves, getting into the weeds when needed.
  • Work with the VP of Marketing & Marketing Leadership Team to strategize, ideate, and execute on big picture initiatives. Have strong judgment and practical business acumen when it comes to understanding priorities and how to move the business forward.

This position will report to the VP of Marketing, in-house (post-covid) in our Huntington Beach, CA office.  Remote candidates will be considered, but local candidates are preferred.

Experience Required:
  • 5+ years’ experience managing strategy and execution of DTC e-commerce at a consumer product company, with a proven track record of success backed with analytics.
  • Entrepreneurial and multi-website environments helpful.
  • Experience managing websites (Shopify), ads (Google Suite and Facebook), software/app integrations, and email (Klaviyo) required. 
  • Google Analytics, BazaarVoice, Asana, Slack, and Salsify experience helpful. 
  • Strong project management experience, including Asana or similar
  • Experience managing external resources, including web development and ad agencies
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and writing copy within a brand voice
  • Creative and performance-driven marketer with success in executing e-commerce and digital marketing strategies
